Alyce
Alyce has been a solicitor since 2012 and has spent that time practising in the Hawkesbury, NSW. She began her career as a Solicitor at a leading local general law firm in Windsor, where she gained invaluable experience representing clients in a wide range of matters. Alyce quickly gained a reputation as a highly skilled and compassionate advocate for her clients.
Alyce formed her firm, AKC Legal in 2020. Her expertise includes both Criminal and Family Law. In Criminal Law she has represented clients in a wide range of matters including drug and traffic offences, assault, fraud and serious indictable offences. She is highly skilled at negotiating with Prosecutors and has a track record of achieving favourable outcomes for her clients. Alyce has instructed Counsel in jury trials for a wide range of matters including sexual offences, grooming and drug offences and has a reputation as being a tenacious advocate for her clients.
In Family Law Alyce is known for her compassionate approach to her clients needs. Her work ranges from child custody to property matters with a modest asset pool to multi-million dollar asset pools, including family trusts, overseas assets, farming properties that have been in one party’s family for generations.
The scale and breadth of her Family Law works extends from straight forward divorces; child support agreements; financial agreements and reaching agreements through negotiations, mediation, collaborative meetings and also through the Court process. She has experience in reaching deals with married relationships, de facto relationships and same-sex relationships.
In addition to Criminal and Family Law Alyce’s other areas of practice revolve around other matters of concern for families and the community, namely, wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardians, estate planning, the administration of deceased estates, acting in disputed estates, debt recovery and defamation.
